Well hello friends! I’m so excited to kick off this Blogmas. For the month of December I’ll be posting a NEW blog everyday at least M-F. I have been wanting to be consistent for a while now. I always have “write a blog” on my to do list but I never put urgency behind it. Well today is the day to do so. I’ll be sharing some holiday content and regular content you may be interested in.
Tis the season right? So let’s start it off with a cute sweater I adore. I actually have it in 2 colors and it comes in 4 different colors. This is the perfect sweater to pair with so many bottoms.
Ruffles and a cozy sweater is the perfect combo. I’ll link it here. Pastels are in now and I figured green was perfect for the holidays. The best thing is I can carry this into Spring. This is an A++ in my book.
Pearls & Headbands
First of all if you didn't know I am a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. So I love my 20 pearls. Also I’m a fan of headbands now so this is literally up my ally. Every time I get close to needing my hair done, these are my go to. Don’t get me wrong they’re good when my hair is done too. It just adds that extra oomf.
It’s all in the details
I’ve recently fell in love with fashion all over again. I had a passion for it when I was in high school. I had kids and it dwindled away. I got used to the mom jeans and a crew neck tee. Well once I had Maverick things got wider if you catch my drift. So I needed to figure this thing out.
I gave away all my old clothes and started from literally a tee and a few dresses from Amazon. I will not lie, it hurt. However, I’m giving myself grace and doing what’s best for me and my body. Which is to treat MY self haha. So you’ll see quite a few fashion posts.
Fall is ending
Fall ends December 21st and I’ll admit I’m sad. But I’m bringing fall into winter. I’m keeping my neutrals and a few dashes of color too. Being a midsize girl, it’s so easy to run to black but I’ll definitely play with color if the outfit is cute. That’s why it’s so important to have a capsule wardrobe. That way you can interchange outfits with the same couple of jeans, sweaters, and shirts. Plus more bang for the buck!
