5 Things to do in Virginia Beach
It comes to no surprise that the Virgina Beach area is filled with lots of Fun things to do. We’re talking sky diving, eating, swimming, boat rides, and just plain fun. I was born and raised in Virginia. We moved away for 6 years and found ourselves right back in the sunny state. Here’s 5 things to do in Virginia Beach.
Sky Dive
No worries if you’re afraid to jump out of a plane! iFly in Virginia Beach gives you the same thrill but much safer in my opinion. I couldn’t believe I did this but my boo turned 30 and I wanted him to experience something new and thrill seeking. They’re super affordable and they have quite a few packages to keep flying longer and HIGHER! I got the smallest package and I really wish I upgraded because once I got in that tunnel it felt so good just letting everything go lol. Check them out the next time you’re in Virginia Beach.
The Good Food
If you follow my stories on Instagram. You’d see how much my husband and I love going to different restaurants weekly for our dates. Our top favorite restaurants are Tupelo Honey, Bay Local Eatery, Orion’s Roof, Tulu, America’s Best Wings, and so many more. Honestly, Bay Local is one of my fave’s they have amazing seafood and $2 mimosas on Mondays! Orion’s Roof the food is great but the VIEW is better! The Yard Milkshake Bar is infamous for their viral milkshakes and guess where that’s located? Right here in Virginia Beach.
The VA Aquarium
We went to the VA Aquarium over the summer and I can’t wait to head back. It was such a nostalgic feeling walking through the halls here. I remember coming here many times while I was younger. It is a bit on the expensive side if you have multiple children. I was able to go with a friend and she had a season pass. We got in Free and it was so worth it! Between the wildlife outdoors and the sea animals. I had so much fun and I know the kiddo’s did too. Right next to the Aquarium is Ocean Breeze, if you’re looking for a waterpark, that’s literally the best place to go. They have so much to do including kids rides and adult rides.
Apex
We had Audrey’s birthday here at Apex and literally money well spent. She had a ball literally. The birthday package also included so many amenities for the children. If you’re in the town center area when you visit, make sure you stop here! This by far has been a NEW fun spot to hang. You can bowl, have bumper cars, race on the track, climb, laser tag, arcade, you name it they have it. It’s super busy on the weekends so make sure to grab a mask or 2 when you’re deciding to visit. It’s actually reasonably priced as well.
The Beach
I wouldn’t be a beach girl if I didn’t include the beach. OMG this is one of my favorite places to go. It’s so soothing. Especially in the winter. We booked a hotel at the Marriott and I left the sliding doors open. It was so peaceful and tranquil. The beach has so many fun things to do including Sky Dive, arcade, tons of ice cream, concerts, other hotels, and more. We literally live in a vacation spot and I’m thankful for that.
When you visit Virginia Beach, you will definitely have plenty to do without a doubt. You can check more on the VisitVABeach website or Instagram. Do you plan to travel here anytime soon? Follow me on Instagram and Facebook.
