Target Baby Essentials Every New Mom Needs
Hey friends! I’m super excited to share a few Target baby essentials available now on Target.com! Most of the products can be found in your store and you can easily purchase from your app and select Order Pickup or Drive Up. If you’re a busy mom like me, drive up is heaven sent. I’ve recently had a lot of requests from expecting moms who want to know my go-to essentials for babies. I’m finally sharing a few finds we can’t live without at my favorite store TARGET!
Diapers and Wipes Oh My!
Who knows how fast a baby can go through diapers? When we were first time parents with Audrey, we changed her every single hour! Thankfully the Pampers Swaddlers are super absorbent so we don’t have to do every single hour. Don’t forget those Pampers wipes! I really like the consistency of the Pampers Sensitive Wipes. They are super gentle on the baby’s bottom and not super wet. It’s perfect for those rough nights when you can’t see and the baby doesn’t get too mad from a super wet and cold wipe. I’ve used Pampers with all 3 children and never had an issue with a leak. Thankfully Target makes buying pampers and wipes easier on the pockets. Make sure to check your Target Circle for a coupon to scan at checkout.
Baby Shark Do Do Do
I’d be lying if I told you I don’t sing this song at least twice a day lol! Bath toys are such a great way to learn in the tub! Maverick enjoys his bath toys during bath time ever since he was a newborn. They help with eye coordination and learning. Baby Shark is his new found “thing” so I had to snag these little fingers for bath time play. He’s currently teething too so he pulls them off my finger lol.
A great way for your children to enjoy bath time is to have things they can remember that brings them joy. Maverick didn’t like bath time as a newborn. Once I incorporated toys, it was a celebration each time. I like to get bath toys that are easy to clean. Some can harvest mold (which we don’t like). These are open and easy to clean after bath. Also super affordable, thanks to Target!
After Bath Care
Can you believe some babies don’t enjoy towels and the “wipe down”? Yes, you’re reading that right. Maverick doesn't like the “regular” towel. So I usually pick up the towels with animals or characters to show him it’s comfy and safe to get dried with. After I’ve toweled him off I apply lotion and my favorite product Aquaphor. I can’t live without this ointment. It helps keep the baby smooth and the bottom dry from diaper rash and more. I also use it on my lips and whenever I have the occasional dry skin.
It’s imperative to have this on hand and on the go. Target carries different sizes for all needs.
