Buffalo Christmas Tree Decor

Hello Christmas Tree decor! Like I said in my Christmas Tablescape blog, I’m usually a neutral gal. I go for nudes and gold accents. So stepping out of my comfort zone was a little hard. After chatting with my aunt about colors for the year, she mentioned black. She must’ve been by my phone because as I searched “Christmas themes” all I saw and wanted to click on was the black and white theme aka Buffalo Checker. So here I am purchasing beautiful BLACK decor. Wow who am I? I will say I was mostly inspired by Kirkland’s. They had a similar tree with this decor and I wanted it. So Hello change haha.

Luxurious Trees

I had fun with decorating this tree. I will share in another post my bedroom tree. However today, let’s talk about luxury trees. Did you know luxury doesn’t have to break the bank? I purchased this tree from Big Lot’s last year. It’s 7.5 feet and flocked. I will say it was flocked more last year but I still love the little green that pops through. You can find affordable trees at Walmart, Target, Amazon, and Michael’s. I purchased 2 cute pencil trees from Michael’s and I know I’ll have them for many years.

Ornaments

The tree is cool but the ORNAMENTS matter. You can buy an ugly Charlie Brown tree and purchase the cutest ornaments to beef it up. I purchased majority of my ornaments from Kirkland’s. A few of them were from Walmart and Big Lot’s again. Oh don’t forget the infamous Hobby Lobby which is where I purchased my stockings. I was never a fan of overdoing the tree but friends this is why ornaments matter ok! The more the merrier literally. The bulb pictured below is from Big Lot’s and it’s my fave if you can’t tell lol. I loved the white and black with greenery.
