3 Reasons Why I Started A Blog and Why You Should Too.

Hey guys, I’m sure you know by now who I am and what I do. If not, I’m Antoinette! Welcome to my little piece of world, virtually. I’m here to share all my social media hacks, lifestyle, and anything that I deem Interesting for you to know. I decided to start my own blog outside of my Podcast and I wanted to share 3 tips why you should too.

Have your own dedicated space

We love the tiny squares on Instagram and the Facebook lives, but guess what. If Mark Zuckerberg decided to shut them both down. What would you do? Especially if they are your main sources of income. In which, they were for me. I was one of those network marketing girls that sold on social media. Now that I’ve completely rebranded myself. It was my mission to have a little piece of me that I own and can design anyway I please. If you’re thinking of selling a product or service, Instagram is making it easier for your audience to purchase by adding an option to complete order without leaving the app. Of course it will not be free, but again we shouldn't put all of our eggs in one basket. So make sure to have your dedicated space that is your own. Where you’re free to express yourself without malfunction.

A therapeutic outlet

Can I be honest I have 464,895 journals. I usually can never fill them up completely, but I lay it all out on those tiny little lines. Drop a comment if you love them just as much as me!  Who knew writing a blog could be so therapeutic? Try spilling the tea or beans whichever you like, on your personal blog. You don’t have to adhere to any guidelines unless the post is sponsored. Even then, it’s your opinion about the company. I’ve read some amazing blog posts that bloggers have written. Let’s just say, if you’re feeling any type of way. I’m sure there is a blog about it. You’re able to pour out your feelings and not only release tensions, but you could bless and help others who feel alone. Your pain can turn into someone else’s saving grace. Glorayyyy!

Turn your side hustle into a full-time income

Who knew building a blog could be so lucrative? When you learn to monetize your blog, you could use this as a stream of income. In fact, I’ve come across quite a few full-time bloggers who make over $100K a year. You can write your honest opinion about certain topics, product reviews, hosted travel, and more. Never think it’s too late to start something. If it’s your time to shine it doesn’t matter if the industry is saturated or not. Find your niche, narrow down your target market, and stick to it. Pinterest is one of my favorite places to figure those specific things.

I hope these 3 tips helped you figure out why you should start blogging. I’ve tried quite a few outlets. Including Youtube, Twitter, and Snapchat. Find your jam and master it. I absolutely love Instagram and Facebook, but it was time to add another under my belt and that was blogging. I will say make sure you do a topic you’re passionate about. The words will flow so much easier. We’re all experts in something whether we took a course or have a degree in it. Share your expertise with the world and enjoy doing it.
